Populo Coronation Party and Residents Market held on the Carpenters Estate

Populo Living recently hosted a joyous neighbourhood party on Carpenters Estate to mark the coronation of HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla. This was one of the 119 neighbourhood and 7 street parties which took place across Newham to mark the historic occasion. Families, friends, and visitors came together to take part in food, festivities, and entertainment on offer in the sunshine.
The party also functioned as a launch for the "Carpenters Estate Market", which allowed local entrepreneurs and businesses to display their wares, from delicious foods to handmade crafts and fashion. This event provided an opportunity to explore the area's thriving commercial community as the estate continues to undergo regeneration delivering over 2,000 new homes – with 50% at affordable levels.
